Parts Counter Associate

About the Role

Riverton Acura is looking for a Parts Counter Associate to join our fixed operations team. This role is all about people: greeting guests with a smile, helping them find exactly what they need, and making every interaction at the counter reflect the premium experience Acura owners expect. You'll also support our wholesale accounts, so a customer-first mindset that carries over to business partners is key. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Greet and assist walk-in retail guests and internal technicians at the parts counter, providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service
• Look up parts by VIN and part number, and source parts through Acura/American Honda parts systems and outside vendors when needed
• Bring that same customer-first approach to our wholesale accounts by processing orders, quoting pricing, and ensuring accurate, on-time fulfillment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale customers to earn repeat business
• Pull, stage, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
• Collaborate closely with the service department, technicians, and fellow parts team members to keep operations running smoothly
• Follow up on back orders, special orders, and returns

What We're Looking For

• Excellent customer service skills: friendly, responsive, and detail-oriented
• A strong, positive team player who communicates well and pitches in wherever needed
• Open to candidates at any experience level; prior dealership parts counter or wholesale experience is a plus
• Experience with Acura/Honda parts systems or Dealertrack is a plus
• Comfortable using computer systems for parts lookup, ordering, and inventory
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced counter environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule including rotating Saturdays
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Schedule

Full-time position with rotating Saturday shifts.
