Summary
The overall objective of this position is to provide a high level of customer service, business intelligence, and insights into a variety of reporting.
Essential Duties/Accountabilities
Prepare and analyze data for end-user projects
Accurately report and understand financials, including general ledger accounts
Evaluate general ledger accounts by conducting variance analysis - comparing actual results with plans and forecasts
Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
Guide cost analysis process by following policies and procedures
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions and trends
Qualifications
Qualifications
0-2 years of business, finance, or relevant experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Economics preferred
Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
Strong analytical and data query/data management skills (Access, SQL, Business Intelligence)
Strong quantitative and analytical competency
Experience with data-heavy projects
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
