This posting is for athletic/event workers that have been approved by the Site Athletic Director. Athletic/event workers are not permitted to begin services until cleared by Human Resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must pass a background clearance.
- Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to secure and handle cash.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Seasonal
COMPENSATION: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
REPORTS TO: Site Athletic Director
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Assists in setting-up and break down of facility for athletic events, ticket sales and/or running the clock, keeping scorebook, running the scoreboard and other game-day responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain and create an atmosphere of safety and excellent customer service
- Provide assistance to event attendees or staff when needed or asked.
- Enforce District policies at all times.
- Performs various similar duties as required by circumstances at specific events, such as clearing trash from facilities.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
