Substitute Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:
All substitute teachers MUST hold either a valid Colorado Substitute Authorization or a valid Colorado Teaching License issued by the Colorado Department of Education.
For more information on how to obtain an authorization/license, please visit the Colorado Department of Education website at www.cde.state.co.us.

PREFERRED:
Applicants with a 3-year Colorado Substitute Authorization, a 5-year Colorado Substitute Authorization, or a Colorado Teaching License will receive consideration first.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION:
IMPORTANT: To be considered, please submit the following online:
1. Certified Substitute Application
2. Copy of valid Colorado Substitute Authorization or Colorado Teaching License
3. Copy of official undergraduate college transcripts

Once hired, substitute assignments are made or selected electronically through the Frontline website, Frontline applications, and the automated dialer.

Pay Range per full day:
1 Year Authorization $140
3 Year Authorization $160
5 Year Authorization $200
Teacher License $200
Retired Teacher w/license $200

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:
Applicants must be willing to participate in District No. 70 Payroll Direct Deposit Program.
