Commissary Service Specialist

The Commissary Service Specialist helps keep our ridiculously tasty Pete’s Eats program running like a well-oiled (and well-fed) machine. You’ll be the hero behind the scenes- prepping and delivering goodies with ninja-like accuracy and serving up top-notch customer service with a smile. Basically, if food were a love language, you'd be fluent.

Why You'll Love Working Here

When you join Pete's Posse, you're joining a company that believes investing in people is the best business strategy.

We Offer

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options for Full Time employees
  • Retirement: 401(k) & Roth with a generous 25% discretionary company match of the first 10% of your wages contributed, because we want to help you build a secure future!
  • Paid Time Off that increases with tenure for Full Time Employees
  • 6 paid holidays annually (holiday premium pay for hours worked) for Full Time employees
  • Employee discounts on fuel, merchandise, food, and more
  • DailyPay - giving you the option to access eligible earned wages before your regular payday.
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Employee referral bonuses
  • $0.50/hour overnight premium for hours worked between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Opportunities for career advancement

What You’ll Do

  • Provide scent-sational guest service by creating a welcoming environment.

  • Play delivery hero by safely and efficiently hauling delicious commissary eats and fresh-baked goodies to their destinations, Monday through Friday. No cape required (but totally encouraged).

  • Load, unload, and double-check those goodies to make sure everything’s right, tight, and ready to delight.

  • Record your rounds and report the drama- product issues, detours, scheduling snafus, or your cargo mysteriously grows legs.

  • Jump into the kitchen action when needed- prepping, packing, cleaning, and maybe even pretending you're on a cooking show (minus the dramatic music).

  • Rock those food safety standards like a champ. No shortcuts, no sketchy stuff, just clean kitchens and happy bellies.

  • Give your delivery ride a quick once-over, tires, lights, weird noises, and let us know if it’s acting up.

What You’ll Need

  • Solution focused thinking - You get 5 minutes to complain, and then we solve problems and kick tail!
  • Effective time management. In the retail environment, one minute it’s slow, then the next there’s a bus full of customers hungry for food. We need someone who will rise to the occasion and go with the flow.
  • Ability to learn new concepts and stay organized, maintaining a high level of attention to detail while multitasking (there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in every direction!).

Requirements

  • Must be at least 19 years of age or older. We don’t make the rules… or law.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and passion for sight-seeing, as there is travel between multiple store locations.

  • Comfortable working the kitchen one minute, and cruising deliveries the next.

  • You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete, but you do need to be able to balance on a step stool or step ladder, lift up to 50 lbs., and work from floor to eye level.

  • Able to work in a cooler at an average temperature of 32 degrees (hey, at least it’s not Antarctica).
