Technology Education Teacher

This Technology Education teaching position will be available immediately. The salary and benefits are in accordance with the current Professional Association Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement.

Candidates must have a valid Pennsylvania Technology Education PK-12 Instructional I or II Certification for this assignment.

Further Qualifications include the following:

1. Strong academic background, deep knowledge of the PA Academic Standards and District curriculum, and skill in data analysis of student performance information,
2. Highly developed classroom management and problem solving skills,
3. Strong technology background, with the emphasis on student learning and professional growth
4. Experience/orientation for Special Education/IEP process and requirements,
5. Ability to creatively prepare, communicate, and present effective instructional strategies with the understanding and empathy for students and the assigned level.

Completion of successful interviews and meeting all local standards and requirements are required.
