What You'll Do
As a Dietary Aide, you'll play an important role in making sure our residents receive meals that are safe, accurate, appealing, and served with care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with food preparation and meal service.
- Maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensuring food, plates, hot-base lowerators, and steam tables are properly heated.
- Checking trays for accurate food items and serving portions before they leave the kitchen.
- Ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, recorded, and reviewed.
- Preparing attractive, organized trays with clean silverware, cups, dishes, and dry plate covers.
- Monitoring food preparation quantities and communicating any shortages or excesses to the supervisor.
- Following all food safety, sanitation, and resident-care standards.

Requirements:
- Food Handler's Permit and/or ServSafe certification, as required by state regulations.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and reference inquiry.
