The core responsibilities of this role include: Serving as a senior-level warehouse team member supporting cold chain operations, inventory control, and domestic/international shipping activities. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, operating warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, supporting equipment maintenance and housekeeping programs, assisting with training and workflow coordination, and providing leadership within the warehouse while helping drive operational efficiency and customer service excellence.

Position: Senior Warehouse Technician

Shift: 1st shift (Start time between 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM; assigned schedule subject to change based on business needs)

Pay: $25.00 - $27.40 per hour, based on experience

The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

  • 3-5 years of warehouse experience, preferably within a cold chain, pharmaceutical, or biopharmaceutical environment
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations
  • Experience organizing and processing both domestic and international shipments
  • Ability to monitor inventory levels and maintain stock availability
  • Experience using handheld scanners, warehouse management systems, and power equipment
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing shipping documentation and order accuracy
  • Ability to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture
  • Experience conducting equipment inspections, including pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation for inventory, cleaning activities, and equipment maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience supporting equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and preventive maintenance programs
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready warehouse environment
  • Experience training, onboarding, or providing guidance to warehouse team members
  • Ability to assist with workflow planning, task prioritization, packaging, and conditioning activities
  • Customer service mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High sense of urgency with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
  • Flexible and adaptable to support operational and customer needs

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing between 20 and 80 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform warehouse activities for extended periods
  • Ability to work in temperature-controlled and cold chain environments

CryoPDP Sr Warehouse Tech

Senior Warehouse Technician

Role Purpose:

The Senior Warehouse Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the warehouse by overseeing inventory, supporting the warehouse team, and ensuring the accurate handling and distribution of products in line with quality, safety, and customer requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Participate in Warehouse Cold Chain team operational structure set out by both GDP & department/company S.O.P's with detailed documentation of all activities and immediate reporting of any deviations
  • Obtain a full and complete understanding of the department's responsibilities in relation to Packaging/Cold Chain & general transport requirements, maintaining current knowledge through regular review of SOPs and updates
  • Work closely with the operations teams to organize international shipments and domestic shipments in line with temperature control requirements, the Group QA & EHS policies, and the company Standard Operating Procedures
  • Monitor/control / prepare and / condition stock availability/levels for TCP with thorough documentation:
  • Receipt or shipment of drug and biologics in accordance with CRYOPDP procedures and regulations, ensuring complete documentation of each transaction
  • Stock control, including periodic cycle counts of product and packaging material with detailed reconciliation records
  • Preparing & conditioning TCP incl., handling of phase change materials with comprehensive batch documentation
  • Recording and data entering all information regarding temp-controlled packaging with verification of data accuracy
  • Assist with preparing and charging vapor shipping tanks (dry shippers) with liquid nitrogen according to charging and safety procedures, maintaining detailed logs
  • Receive empty shippers, clean, sanitize, and ready for next use, documenting all cleaning and qualification steps
  • Ensure all orders are prepared in accordance with the client's needs and as outlined in SOP's, and CRYOPDP regulations, with thorough verification and documentation
  • Equipment and Housekeeping: Conduct daily inspections of forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment before use
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization: Execute daily cleaning schedules for all warehouse areas according to GDP requirements
  • Execute equipment maintenance and calibration program: Follow and document calibration schedules for temperature monitoring devices, scales, and measuring instruments
  • Leadership and Support: Provide day-to-day guidance and support to warehouse team members ? Assist with the training and onboarding of new employees
  • Manage daily working relations with external agents such as packaging/transport suppliers & regional CRYOPDP facilities in ensuring that staff and agents comply with Packaging and Temperature Control requirements, documenting all communications and compliance verifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in working in a warehouse in a cold chain environment
