Day in the Life of a Software/Computer Science Engineering Intern

We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineering Intern at Bell, you can expect to:

Gain familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
Develop software / coding experience using C++, C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments.
Learn control system design and modeling

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science required
Minimum 60 college credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2027) or prior Bell internship experience
Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1– August 6, 2027
3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA strongly preferred

What Will Make You Stand Out:

Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
Software / coding experience using C++, C#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments.
Control system design and modeling using Simulink, and implementation on hardware.
Software verification test experience in high fidelity hardware-in-the-loop (HILS) environments using integrated flight dynamic modeling of air vehicle performance
