Furniture Consultant

The Furniture Consultant is responsible for providing expertise in furnishing, decor, and household appliances. They analyse customer profiles to provide personalized recommendations and actively engage with customers. Additionally, they perform sales transactions and stay updated with the latest trends and product releases.

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience as a brand ambassador for @home Livingspace.

  • Build meaningful customer relationships by understanding needs and providing tailored furnishing and lifestyle solutions.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and service targets.

  • Drive sales through consultative selling, relationship building, and effective closing techniques.

  • Identify and maximise sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement.

  • Convert enquiries into sales through excellent product knowledge and customer service.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of products, promotions, and industry trends.

  • Take ownership of personal sales performance and contribute to overall store success.

  • Ensure showroom presentation, merchandising standards, and stock levels are maintained to the highest standard.

  • Contribute to the profitability and growth of the store.

  • Grade 12 (Matric).

Experience:

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Experience working in a target-driven and/or commission-based sales environment.
  • Experience selling premium, high-value, lifestyle, luxury, or aspirational products will be advantageous.
  • Strong customer engagement and relationship-building experience.
  • Experience converting customer interactions into sales outcomes.
  • Furniture, homeware, décor, telecommunications, automotive, financial services, luxury retail, or similar sales experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
