Senior Storeman

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Storeman to support our warehouse operations through accurate stock control, efficient goods movement, and strong operational discipline. This is a hands-on senior role, combining advanced storeman responsibilities with broader warehouse duties, while providing guidance and support to the operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and book in stock against purchase orders and delivery documentation
• Accurately pick, issue, and dispatch stock for sales and rental orders, and workshop requirements
• Ensure correct binning, labelling, and safe storage of stock in the warehouse
• Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual stock takes.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, damages, or non-conforming items
• Handle returns, repairs, and warranty items in line with company procedures
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety, and 5S within the warehouse
• Act as a senior point of reference for the warehouse.
• Support warehouse operations during peak periods, shutdowns, and audits
• Comply with all health, safety, and company policies at all times

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• 3-5 years’ experience in warehouse and/or stores operations
• Proven experience in a senior or lead storeman role.
• ERP / SAP or similar inventory system experience essential
• Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse best practices
