Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager - QA/QC Manager to join a large infrastructure project. In this role, you will oversee all quality assurance and quality control functions for our infrastructure operations, ensuring that all projects, processes, and deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence. You will lead a team of QA/QC professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive QA/QC policies, procedures, and protocols for infrastructure projects
• Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Conduct thorough inspections, audits, and testing of infrastructure components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement
• Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation for stakeholder review and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to establish quality benchmarks and acceptance criteria
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
• Manage vendor and supplier quality assessments to ensure consistent delivery of materials and services
• Optimize QA/QC processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining rigorous quality standards
• Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in infrastructure quality management
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless integration of quality standards across all operational phases

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in QA/QC management, preferably in infrastructure or construction sectors
• Proven expertise in quality assurance methodologies, standards, and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement, optimization, and continuous enhancement initiatives
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) implementation
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in quality management systems and documentation practices
• Experience with testing protocols, inspection procedures, and quality control tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports
• Preferred: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or similar quality management certifications
• Preferred: Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies
• Preferred: Experience with quality management software and data analysis tools
• Preferred: Budget management and vendor management experience
