About the role and team

Sales at Uber means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding Uber for Business (U4B) within the SMB segment, helping companies move their people and products with ease. You’ll join a team that values ownership and grit, where we invest in your success to take you from great to best-in-class.

This isn't about pushing a product; it's about building long-term partnerships in a high-stakes, fast-changing environment. You’ll need to stay resilient through tough conversations and be energized by the messy reality of doing big things at scale. If you are a natural "doer" who thrives on solving complex problems with imperfect information, this is where you will grow.

What you’ll do

  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our customers—not just selling a product.
  • Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and internal complexity to unlock value for clients and for Uber.
  • Manage pipelines with urgency and discipline, knowing some deals will close fast and others will take months of persistence and trust-building.
  • Adapt your approach based on market dynamics, client needs, and imperfect information—there’s no one-size-fits-all playbook here.
  • Collaborate across operations, marketing, product, and legal to shape proposals, resolve blockers, and deliver solutions that scale.
  • Communicate clearly, negotiate confidently, and stay resilient through tough conversations and the inevitable “no.”

Basic Qualifications

  • 1
    • years of B2B sales experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive role or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and company goals in high-volume environments.
  • Experience in SaaS sales or within the specific regional market (e.g., Mexico, Chile, Argentina, or Brazil).
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and prioritize accounts.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to navigate internal complexity to unblock sales processes.

Ready to Ride?

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook — it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves — we'd love to hear from you.

You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.
