What to Expect

The APAC Residential Energy team is looking for a Business Development Analyst. This role is responsible for creating market & competitive intelligence, and supporting the development of new commercial offers across the Tesla Residential Energy Ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • Ownership for developing market and competitive intelligence
  • Market Research: Collect data on industry & technological trends, customer needs, market sizes & use cases via reports, databases, interviews, surveys.
  • Competitor Monitoring: Track products, strategies (marketing/pricing) and develop benchmarking analyses.
  • Insights & Reporting: Synthesize into actionable intelligence, reports to guide strategy & product decisions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with sales, policy, and product teams for tailored insights.
  • Process Optimization: Automate/industrialize intelligence workflows
  • Support development of new commercial offers across the Tesla Energy Ecosystem:
  • Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate emerging solutions to drive sales of Tesla Energy products; drive cross-functional scoping & evaluation.
  • Offer development: Leverage intelligence to develop differentiated propositions & commercial offers, creating unique value within the Tesla Energy product ecosystem.

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to manage large initiatives with many stakeholders, driving the group to decisions and demonstrating results
  • Capable to define and structure broad asks into logical frameworks for analysis and executive decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills appropriate for representing Tesla internally and externally at an executive level
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling
  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • English fluency, additional APAC region languages are a plus
