Logistics Coordinator

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Logistic Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Gilles Plains, South Australia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals looking to broaden their career in the manufacturing and food production industry. As a Logistic Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination of daily operations of customer service, inventory control and logistics. Responsible to the Executive Manager, Manufacturing & Packaging, the successful candidate will be offered a full time role, on a maximum term contract up to 2 years. Ready for an immediate start!

Responsibilities:

  • Working with Operations and other managers, ensure day to day smooth operations of inventory/ logistics/ warehousing functions.
  • Ensure Business Central Inventory records are maintained and processed accurately.
  • Raising Purchase, Sales orders and invoices in Business Central.
  • Scheduling stores deliveries and ensuring delivery in full, on time (DIFOT) by customer agreed due dates.
  • Contribute to stock take/ stock counts for customer stock/ raw materials when required.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records for receiving and dispatch of finished goods and raw materials; including freight bookings.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and variances are reported to Operations or other managers as instructed, including monitoring of stock and consumable levels
  • Contributes to planning and scheduling of inventory and finished goods to achieve DIFOT.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a logistics / customer service/ FMCG production environment
  • Experience working with warehouse and logistics systems
  • Proficient in the use of standard Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and complete work within established deadlines
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Strong alignment to continuous improvement and WHS practices
  • Current drivers’ license.
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Clearance and Working With Children Clearance
  • Completed NDIS Worker Orientation Module training

Work Location:

  • Based in Gilles Plains, South Australia
  • Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday
