Forklift Driver PM Shift

Vulcan is seeking a reliable and safety-focused forklift operator to join our Brisbane team. You will be responsible for the safe and accurate pick/packing of sheet products. The role is afternoon based 1pm-9:30pm Monday -Thursday and 9:30am-3:30pm Friday.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operation of 5 tonne counterbalance forklift safely and to Vulcan Standards.
• Accurate picking and packing of sheet products.
• Completion of relevant paperwork assigned to role.
• Conducting daily pre-start of equipment.
• Performing manual duties when required.
• Upkeep of the warehouse and racking.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• A current a valid Australian High-risk license. (forklift).

• Experience with operation of forklift in a warehouse environment.

• A strong commitment to safety.

• Sufficient physical fitness to safely complete manual handling duties.

• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

• The ability to follow procedures, work independently and meet role requirements.

• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
