The Opportunity

As the Site Manager, you will lead resource recovery operations, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient performance across two critical sites. This role will shape operational discipline, strengthen safety culture and improve throughput, asset performance and customer outcomes while contributing to a more sustainable future.

  • Foster a strong culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and compliance across both sites
  • Support and develop operational leaders and teams to deliver excellent service, achieve performance goals, and build workforce capability
  • Oversee site assets, maintenance activities and operational reliability to reduce unplanned downtime
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance recovery outcomes, operational efficiency, and site performance
  • Manage branch financial performance, including budgets, forecasting and P&L outcomes
  • Build effective relationships with councils, regulators and internal stakeholders

About You

You are an experienced operational leader with a strong commitment to safety, people leadership and continuous improvement. You enjoy working closely with operations, leading diverse teams and delivering measurable business outcomes in complex industrial environments.

  • Proven experience leading operational teams within industrial, manufacturing, recycling, or similar environments
  • Demonstrated safety leadership capability and experience driving compliance and operational discipline
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts and P&L performance
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teams, fostering engagement and high performance
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively with customers, regulators and internal teams
  • Passion for identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and operational outcomes
  • Knowledge of environmental or EPA regulatory frameworks is desirable
