As Data Governance & Lifecycle Enablement Lead, you build the foundation for the strategic transformation at Julius Baer, driving data-centricity across the organization. You will shape how data is governed, understood, trusted and managed throughout its entire lifecycle.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Shape enterprise-wide data capabilities and influence how data is managed across the bank
• Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders on strategic transformation initiatives
• Enable trusted data for regulatory, operational, analytics use cases
• Together with the whole Data Management & Architecture team, drive enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Lifecycle Management frameworks
• Establish business glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata standards and end-to-end data lineage
• Define standards, controls and metrics to improve governance maturity and data quality
• Lead adoption of data management capabilities
• Drive data literacy, stakeholder engagement and a data-driven culture
• Ensure effective management of data from creation through retention, archival and disposal

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in business informatics, computer science, banking, finance or similar
• Experiencein Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Data Lifecycle Management
• Experience with enterprise data catalogue platforms such as Informatica, Collibra or Microsoft Purview
• Experience working with data management, metadata and records management tools such as data catalogues, lineage and governance platforms
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technology functions
• Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving change in a complex environment
• Self-motivated, hands-on and team-oriented with a can-do attitude
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
