What is expected for me?

  • Act as trusted advisor to the FIN Head of EP CEA Segment and member of the finance management team, driving performance analysis, operational KPI review, and business insights.
  • Partner with business and finance leaders to support strategic capital and resource allocation, value creation, and performance improvement across P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Bring a strong performance mindset, analytical capability, people orientation and communication skills to drive sustainable business transformation and deliver results in a high-performing team.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Financial Reporting: Develop reporting standards and performance review formats for Business Lines, Regions, Factories, Functions and Legal Entities; manage monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cadence to SI China and SI EP BU.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze business performance, operational KPIs and market developments; prepare profitability and growth analysis, management commentaries, bridges and presentations.
  • Planning & Forecasting: Lead monthly and quarterly close/forecast processes for orders, revenue, bottom line, cash items, headcount and key financial KPIs; orchestrate budget, target setting, incentives and executive presentations.
  • Financial Appraisal: Support investment decisions and business cases through sound financial appraisal, including governance of hurdle rates, modeling assumptions and scenario approaches.
  • Risk & Internal Control: Provide transparency on risk exposure, steer mitigation measures, and ensure effective Enterprise Risk Management and Internal Control processes.
  • Digital Finance & Data Transformation: Drive the digitalization roadmap for performance controlling by developing dashboards, automated reporting solutions and data visualization tools; improve data quality, transparency and efficiency across the CEA finance community; explore AI-enabled analytics and predictive insights to support faster and more proactive business decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate and develop the performance controlling team and act as role model for finance partners across CEA, including assigned sales regions.
  • Remark: This headquarters role covers EP CEA, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea, requiring consolidation across regions and multiple AREs.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting and / or education as professional accountant (CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years of financial controlling experience, including international collaboration and at least 5 years of leadership experience in a global matrix organization.
  • Strong business acumen to identify trends, derive insights and propose measures that improve business performance, including business plan review and scenario analysis.
  • Result- and quality-oriented mindset, with focus on critical KPIs, early warning signals and effective performance tracking.
  • Strong people leadership skills to coach, develop and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in financial/digital tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and dashboard solutions, AI, PowerBI, Qlik, etc..
  • Solid digital mindset with hands-on experience in finance digitalization, data analytics, automation and dashboard development; ability to translate business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
  • Growth mindset, forward thinking, curiosity and openness to change and new opportunities.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Understanding of SI EP product portfolio, business models, key business drivers and KPIs
