Digital Transformation Analyst

Job Purpose

Drive digital transformation by designing, developing, and deploying automated workflows, custom applications, and interactive BI dashboards. Focus on digitizing manual processes, leveraging low-code/no-code platforms (AppSheet), and utilizing scripting to provide actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1-Health & Safety:

Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained.

2-Functional:

  • Develop business cases: Implement digital Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Process Automation & Digitization: Architect and implement automated solutions using AppSheet and scripting languages (e.g., Google Apps Script, Python) to replace manual, paper-based, or legacy workflows.
  • Data Visualization & Insight: Design and maintain high-impact BI dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI,data studio) that translate complex data into real-time operational insights.
  • System Integration: Integrate digital tools with existing corporate databases and systems to ensure data integrity and seamless information flow.
  • Work with other departments to enhance their digital skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive digitalization strategies that prioritize health & safety and sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation through automation and digital solutions that align with corporate goals.
  • Ensure that digital tools are user-friendly, visually appealing (UI/UX), and accessible to stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to support digital strategy and inform decision-making processes.
  • Generate detailed reports and presentations that highlight key trends, insights, and actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead digitalization projects from ideation to execution, ensuring alignment with health & safety and sustainability objectives.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with internal departments (e.g., health & safety, environmental, operations, IT) to ensure digital solutions meet regulatory requirements and organizational needs.
  • Engage with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to explore innovative technologies and share best practices.
  • Develop and implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of digital solutions in enhancing health & safety and sustainability and business.
  • Conduct regular assessments and updates of digital tools and processes to ensure continuous improvement and relevance.

Education

Qualifications & Experience

 Education:
  • Engineering

Experience & Skills:

  • 1-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • experience in digital strategy, Business Intelligence, data or project management, preferably in the manufacturing or construction sectors is preferred.
  • Proven experience in low-code development platforms, specifically Google AppSheet.
  • Scripting/Coding: Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., Google Apps Script, Python, or JavaScript) for task automation.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation; experience with ETL processes is a plus.
  • Business Intelligence: "Expertise in building scalable, interactive dashboards using modern BI tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
