Senior Technical Office Engineer – Civil & Structure

• Review and coordinate civil and structural drawings, shop drawings, technical submittals, and design documents.

• Ensure civil and structural deliverables comply with project specifications, standards, codes, and authority requirements.

• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, infrastructure, and site teams to resolve technical conflicts and design clashes.

• Prepare and review RFIs, technical queries, method statements, material submittals, and technical reports.

• Review BOQs, quantities, specifications, and project documentation related to civil and structural works.

• Support value engineering, cost optimization, and constructability reviews.

• Monitor technical deliverables against project schedules and required milestones.

• Support design changes, variation analysis, and technical documentation control.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth technical workflow.

• Maintain logs for drawings, RFIs, submittals, technical comments, and design changes.

• Support site teams by providing technical clarifications and construction-related solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in technical office, civil engineering, or structural engineering.

• Strong experience in infrastructure, STP/RO, utilities, buildings, or large-scale construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of civil and structural drawings, specifications, BOQs, shop drawings, and technical submittals.

• Experience working with consultants, contractors, PMC, or engineering/design teams.

• Strong understanding of local authority requirements, international standards, and project specifications.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit/BIM/Navisworks knowledge is a plus.

• Strong coordination, documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple technical deliverables.
