Deli Assistant (Part Time)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Deli Assistant at LONDIS Cleveragh Road Co Sligo. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our deli section.

• Provide excellent customer service and deal with customer queries in a professional and friendly manner
• Prepare, cook, and present deli products in line with company standards
• Ensure food safety, HACCP, and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the deli department
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and stock rotation
• Replenish stock and ensure displays are fully stocked and visually appealing
• Work efficiently as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries in accordance with company procedures
• Follow all health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and a positive, self-motivated attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative
• Previous deli experience is required
• Good knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety procedures is required
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and occasional weekdays, for approximately 20 hours per week
