The impact you’ll make
In this role, you will design, configure, implement, support, and continuously improve SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. You will strengthen access governance and audit readiness while helping the organization deliver reliable HR services across implementation, enhancement, and production-support lifecycles.
What you’ll do
Employee Central implementation and configuration
Participate in and lead end-to-end Employee Central implementations, from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare.
Conduct process analysis and fit-gap assessments, and translate HR requirements into scalable SuccessFactors solutions.
Configure and maintain data models, Foundation Objects, MDF objects, workflows, business rules, event reasons, picklists, Job Information, Employment Information, Compensation Information, Position Management, Employee Profile, and Global Information.
Configure country-specific and localization requirements; deliver enhancements and defect resolution using standard SuccessFactors functionality wherever possible.
Role-Based Permissions and access governance
Own and support the SuccessFactors RBP framework, including permission roles, permission groups, target populations, and role assignments.
Manage permissions for Employee Data, Employee Central, Foundation Objects, MDF objects, Admin Center, reports, personal information, compensation, and other relevant modules.
Troubleshoot authorization issues; perform periodic access reviews, role clean-up, and privileged access reviews.
Apply least-privilege principles, identify potential Segregation of Duties conflicts, and maintain RBP design documentation and access matrices.
SOX / ITGC and audit support
Support controls for user access, privileged access, change management, and system configuration.
Validate new access, access modifications, terminated-user access, role assignments, and target-population access.
Prepare audit evidence, support control testing, and help remediate audit findings in partnership with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Information Security.
Identify access-control gaps and maintain documentation that supports internal and external audits.
Implementation lifecycle and operational support
Prepare functional specifications and configuration documents; support integrations, data migration, and validation.
Develop test scenarios and scripts; coordinate system integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.
Support training, cutover, go-live, hypercare, stabilization, and transition to business-as-usual support.
Provide L2/L3 support, resolve incidents and service requests, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver enhancements through established change management and CAB processes.
Assess quarterly SuccessFactors releases, execute regression testing, monitor integrations, and maintain knowledge articles, SOPs, and functional documentation.
Operate in line with service-level agreements and established support processes.
Stakeholder and vendor collaboration
Work closely with HR, HRIS, IT, Security, Compliance, business stakeholders, integration teams, and vendors.
Translate functional and technical concepts into clear, business-friendly recommendations.
Participate in solution-design and architecture reviews; coordinate with implementation and application-management-services vendors.
Review vendor solutions for alignment with requirements and provide guidance to junior consultants and support team members.
