QA/QC Electrical Engineer

The QA/QC Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, project requirements, and quality control procedures. The role involves monitoring, inspecting, testing, and documenting electrical installation activities while ensuring compliance with project quality and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical and network installations to ensure quality, workmanship, and compliance with project requirements.
• Verify completed works against approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, and applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Conduct and coordinate inspection, testing, and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Monitor electrical installation activities to ensure compliance with approved QA/QC procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Inspect LV/MV electrical systems, equipment, cabling, containment, terminations, earthing, power distribution, and related installations.
• Review and verify the quality of materials and equipment against approved specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection reports, checklists, test records, and other quality-related documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inspection and testing records throughout the project.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical QA/QC, preferably within construction or MEP projects.
• Hands-on experience in inspection, testing, commissioning, and quality documentation.
• Good knowledge of electrical codes, QA/QC standards, and project quality requirements.
• Sound knowledge of LV/MV power systems and electrical installations.
• Experience in inspecting electrical and network installations for quality, workmanship, and compliance.
