Executive, Contracts Management

Responsibilities

  • Manage, monitor, and follow up on client claims to ensure timely approval of Interim Certificates of Payment (ICP) and subcontractor Certificates of Payment (COP).
  • Coordinate the awarding, allocation, and monitoring of Work Orders to pool contractors, ensuring alignment with approved scope and requirements.
  • Negotiate rates and commercial terms with clients and subcontractors while safeguarding the company's commercial interests and maintaining a good profit margin.
  • Review and analyse Bills of Quantities (BOQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR), quantities, and pricing to ensure accuracy and alignment with contractual requirements.
  • Verify subcontractor final BOQs and reconcile quantities, rates, and scope against the client's final BOQ to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure post-contract activities, documentation, and work execution comply with contractual requirements, policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Maintain accurate contract, claim, Work Order, and payment records, including timely updates and data validation in MAXIMO and ROSS, and provide management reports when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in contract management, commercial management, quantity surveying, project administration, or post-contract management.
  • Experience in claims management, Work Orders, payment certification, BOQ/SOR analysis, and subcontractor management will be highly advantageous.
