Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to analyze attack patterns, develop incident response plans, ensure audit readiness, and implement disaster recovery measures, to ensure adherence to cyber security regulatory frameworks.

Areas of responsibility
Monitoring and Incident Detection-Analyse attack trends and correlate logs across systems to identify advance threats. Enhance monitoring processes and implement improvements for faster detection, to ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulatory standards.
Incident Handling and Analysis-Perform root cause analysis, create incident response plans and implement disaster recovery measures to minimize business disruption
Threat Assessment and Analytics-Undertake forensic analysis using advanced analytics tools and implement mitigation measures to align with compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance-"Liaise with cross functional teams, external vendors and auditors to ensure compliance with security frameworks.
Maintain audit documentation and ensure its accuracy while implementing processes that support audit readiness and continuous compliance."
Training and Awareness-Assist in creating and delivering cybersecurity awareness sessions, including guidance on phishing and malicious emails.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the design, development, and roadmap execution of an enterprise-grade open-source firewall platform aimed at replacing proprietary firewall solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Linux operating systems, networking technologies, network security, traffic engineering, and firewall architectures, combined with strong stakeholder management and product ownership capabilities.
The Product Owner will work closely with engineering teams, network architects, security specialists, and business stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive successful delivery of a scalable, highly available, and secure firewall solution.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for the firewall platform.
- Gather and prioritize business, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to convert requirements into technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Drive migration strategy from proprietary firewalls to open-source solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure product features align with enterprise security and compliance standards.
- Lead release planning, product demonstrations, and stakeholder communications.
Network Security & Firewall Architecture
- Define firewall policies, NAT requirements, packet filtering, routing, and security controls.
- Establish architecture for Layer 3–Layer 7 traffic inspection.
- Drive implementation of:
- Stateful firewalling
- Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
- VPN technologies
- High Availability (HA)
- Network segmentation
- Traffic shaping and QoS
Linux Platform Ownership
- Guide development and deployment of Linux-based firewall appliances.
- Define operating system hardening standards.
- Review kernel-level networking requirements and performance tuning.
- Ensure scalability, resilience, and maintainability of the platform.
Required Technical Skills
Linux Administration (Expert)
Strong experience with:
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Key Responsibilities
· Senior Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the network infra. The role can include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary, supports BAU and projects.
· Minimum 10 years practical experience in end to end management and execution of network project infrastructure deployment involving migration of application.
· Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
· Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), routers, switches.
· Knowledge in automation scripting, implementation through automation.
· Proven track record working with multinational teams.
· Demonstrated ability in handling complex, technical issues and providing timely solutions.
· Strong ability to interact, communicate, and influence vertically and laterally
· Ability to anticipate risks and successfully develop and drive mitigation plans
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals
· Ability to navigate in complex and changing environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
· Manage excellence in Incident / Problem / Change Management of SCB Global WAN/LAN & Security Infrastructure
· Manage High Critical Incident calls that involve complex multi-component, multi-platform issues together with peer Infrastructure teams like OS Platforms, Middleware, DB, and Application support
· Ensure end-to-end root cause analysis and regular reporting for production issues is carried out in a way that meets business and technology requirements
· Support system audits when asked and ensure all holes and vulnerabilities are closed in and the sign-off.
· Recommend and manage relevant end-to-end service improvement initiatives to address risk mitigation and service stability.
· Ensure accurate and regularly updated information related to network physical inventory, logical inventory, network diagram, network traffic flow, technical troubleshooting documents and operational process documents.
· Demonstrates continuous effort for identifying problematic areas and providing permanent fixes.
· Communicating and interacting with clients for providing expert advice.
· Assist in implementing Global Projects, owning the processes and documentation as required by individual Projects.
· Provide technical direction for systems migration and integration.
· Meeting and exceeding defined service level metrics on timeliness and accuracy.
· Work as a global team to manage the operations of multiple customers with multiple shift operations.
· Focus on maximizing customer experience while optimizing costs
