Discover the Role
Join our Accounting & Tax Services team and gain valuable exposure to accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, and client portfolio management. In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality accounting and tax services, work closely with experienced professionals, and collaborate with auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders. Through structured training and hands-on experience, you will develop strong technical knowledge, enhance your problem-solving skills, and build a solid foundation for a successful career in accounting and professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of Accounting and Tax Services by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance with service standards, and adherence to internal processes, SOPs, TMF policies, and Internal Control guidelines.
- Prepare and assist with accounting entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and tax-related schedules in line with local regulations, TMF requirements, and client needs.
- Manage accounting and tax deliverables for assigned client portfolios, proactively identifying issues, supporting resolutions, and ensuring effective, high‑quality service delivery.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external stakeholders to support statutory filings, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Participate in structured training, on-the-job coaching, and continuous learning to strengthen technical knowledge and stay updated on accounting standards, tax regulations, and client-specific requirements.
- Uphold high standards of documentation, data integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing backup support as needed.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accountancy with 0–3 years of relevant working experience, or an equivalent qualification.
Partial completion of a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.
Solid understanding of international and local accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with cloud‑based accounting systems is an advantage.
Good command of spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
A proactive self‑starter with strong initiative, good problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
