We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-focused and dependable Data Entry Administrator to join our Finance team and help keep essential information accurate, organised and up to date. Based at our Business Services Centre in central Tauranga, this fixed-term role runs until the end of April 2027.

This part-time position offers 24 hours per week at $26.00 per hour, with flexibility to agree a working pattern that suits both you and the team—such as three fixed days or school hours spread across the week.

What you’ll do

  • Enter financial and administrative information accurately into relevant systems and spreadsheets.
  • Check data for completeness, accuracy and consistency, and follow up on missing or unclear information.
  • Maintain organised electronic records and ensure documents are filed correctly.
  • Assist with routine reconciliations, reporting and other administrative tasks as directed by the Finance team.
  • Work to agreed timeframes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle financial and personal information with discretion, privacy and confidentiality.

Mōhou Ake | About you

  • Previous data entry or administration experience, ideally within a finance or accounts environment.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, including when completing repetitive tasks.
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other computer-based systems.
  • Able to manage confidential information appropriately and follow established processes.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and confidence asking questions when information needs clarification.
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Reliable, focused and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to work the agreed 24-hour weekly schedule from our central Tauranga office.
