Responsibilities
· Conducting occupational and environmental health and safety audits at customer sites through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on behalf of the Director AFAMC.
· Manage the health and safety department at the aeromedical centre and report any deficiency to the Director AFAMC.
· Designing and carrying out occupational hygiene surveys at various RSAF bases on behalf of the Director AFAMC.
· Producing a full written report of the audit or survey in question, including where appropriate, graphs, charts, pictures and other methods to present a document that is easily understandable to the customer.
· Designing and delivering occupational and environmental health and safety briefing and training to the customer as requested on behalf of the Director AFAMC.
· Ensure the Aeromedical Centre is in compliance and in line with the Armed Forces Medical Services General Directorate central policies.
· Develop and provide training on Crew Resource Management (CRM) course to aircrew undergoing physiological training at the Aeromedical Centre.
· Providing technical occupational health advice as requested by the customer on behalf of the Director AFAMC.
· Advising on the development of customer occupational and environmental policies and standards.
· Assisting with other duties directed by the Director AFAMC or SAMS in support of LOA 13 operations.
Job Requirements:
· Degree or Diploma in Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Health.
· Minimum of five years experience working in Environmental Health and Occupational Safety.
· Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Hygiene.
· Competence in use of monitoring equipments such as sound lever meter (SLM), Noise dose meter, light meter and web bulb globe temperature (WGBT) meter.
· Full driving license from country of origin.
· Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
· Currency in domestic, EU, and worldwide health and safety legislation and standards.
