Responsibilities

This role focuses on developing and implementing SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to drive performance improvements in new user acquisition and high value conversion actions from platforms including ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The scope of the role includes Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to improve the performance and efficiency of search and answer engine channels. This individual will spearhead efforts by developing and executing a roadmap of activities to improve search and answer engine performance. They will also oversee performance marketing efforts in conjunction with the enhancements made to SEO and GEO whilst monitoring the performance of both to make data-informed strategic decisions. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Search/Generative/Answer Engine Optimization (SEO, GEO, AEO)
• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website visibility
• Optimize website content for AI-powered search engines and generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude and Grok)
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits
• Develop citation-worthy content strategies to increase brand visibility in AI-generated responses
• Manage website content, landing pages, metadata, and internal linking structures, as well as oversee backlinking processes and efforts
• Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and industry best practices Performance Marketing
• Plan, execute, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant digital platforms.
• Manage campaign budgets and optimize cost-per-acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and conversion performance.
• Develop audience targeting, remarketing, and lead generation strategies.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide regular optimization recommendations. Digital Marketing & Analytics
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools, analyze brand presence in generative AI answers and establish GEO performance metrics
• Track, analyze, and report marketing performance using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other reporting tools.
• Develop dashboards and performance reports for management.
• Conduct A/B testing on landing pages, advertisements, and marketing campaigns to improve conversion rates.
• Monitor customer acquisition funnels and identify opportunities to improve user engagement.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

• 2-4 years of experience creating and executing search engine optimization strategies, with direct experience with answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization
• Experience in working within the fintech industry with a good grasp of financial products and services
• Strong expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, including audits and backlink strategies
• Working knowledge of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI-powered search platforms (e.g. Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude)
• Experience in analyzing data and in dashboards and reporting software such as Tableau, Looker, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics to drive growth decisions Preferred qualifications
• Experience or familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP), vector search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Proficient in SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to take initiative, independently problem-solve, and drive tasks to completion
