Responsibilities:
- Partner with Consumer Banking leadership and regional stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives aligned with business goals and growth priorities.
- Support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
- Analyze business performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Develop financial models, business cases, and management insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and governance forums.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives to ensure timely and effective execution.
- Monitor key business metrics and recommend actions to improve profitability, productivity, and customer outcomes.
- Facilitate governance, regulatory, and management committee activities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in business processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support collaboration and effective delivery of business priorities.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Banking, or possession of professional certifications like Chartered Accountant or Chartered Banker
Relevant Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business planning, or consulting within financial services
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and performance tracking
- Prior experience in business finance or internal audit within the financial services sector, or external audit experience at a Big Four firm, is highly advantageous
- Strong financial analytical capabilities with a keen ability to identify gaps and weaknesses, complemented by effective problem-solving and communication skills
