We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Meat Department Maintenance Inventory Clerk working in our Chino, CA Facility.
The Meat Department Maintenance Inventory Clerk plays a crucial role in managing the inventory of maintenance parts to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations within the facility. This position is tasked with ensuring that spare parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies are received accurately, organized properly, stocked efficiently, and issued to maintenance staff as needed. Collaboration with the Maintenance, Purchasing, and Operations teams is essential to maintain inventory accuracy, avoid stock shortages, and facilitate timely repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
General Responsibilities:
- Receiving, inspecting, labelling, and stocking incoming maintenance parts and materials
- Maintain stockroom organization, location accuracy, labelling systems, and housekeeping standards
- Issuing parts to maintenance technicians and fulfilling parts requests
- Monitoring inventory levels, maintaining min/max levels, and generating replenishment requests
- Performing cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy audits
- Coordinating with Purchasing on order status, discrepancies, shortages, and special-order parts
- Supporting maintenance planning activities and ensuring parts availability for PMs and scheduled work
Work Schedule + Benefits:
- Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
- Hourly Pay Range: $25.86- $28.60/ HR DOE

- Hours: 7:00 am-3:30 pm
- Some overtime as needed

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Inventory control or parts management role
- 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing, food processing, or industrial maintenance environment (Preferred)
- Computer Literacy to use inventory management software and spreadsheets like Microsoft excel
- 1 year of experience with CMMS, ERP, Oracle, or inventory management systems (Preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage numerous parts and orders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer services skills and ability to multitask
- Forklift experience (Preferred)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- High School diploma or equivalent required
