• Provides technical and professional services in Immunization Operations Section.

• Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and procedures relevant to the Immunization Operations Section. Ability to exercise judgement and discretion. Ability to manage and direct the initiation, planning, execution, control, and closeout phases of the Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) under Immunization Operations Section.

• The ability to define and prioritize project requirements and implement work plan(s), scopes and schedule to ensure project deliverables, milestones and required tasks completed as planned.

• Strong communication (written and oral) and professional presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

• Communicating with organizational leaders and responsible for working collaboratively with internal program leads including IIS, data modernizing team, and relevant other stakeholders. - Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. Does not supervise other staff.

• Data modernization, data quality improvement activities as assigned.

• Prepares necessary documentation (i.e., needs analysis,) to support project initiatives in the Immunization Operations Section.

Examples of duties

State MinimumRequirements: A bachelor's degree and relevant project management experience.

Agency Additional Requirements: Must have experience in managing, planning and implementing project activities.

Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications, subject to approval by the DPH Chief Human Resources Officer, or their delegate.

Qualifications

Prefers a master’s degree in public health, law, public policy, epidemiology, or health promotion & education with three to five (3-5) years of experience in project implementation and management in the areas of health registry or health informatics including Certified in Project Management or Project Management Professional (PMP).
