Provides overall coordination of research activities in the Paustian IBD Center Mannon research lab and clinical research unit
Manages and conducts research activities for the Paustian IBD Center Mannon research lab which may include experimental design and execution, sample handling (collecting, processing, biobanking), data analysis/interpretation and ordering maintenance of laboratory supplies/equipment.
Manages and provides oversight to collection, storage and annotation of the Paustian IBD Center Biobank.
Responsible for assisting with developing protocols and regulatory documents in collaboration with the Principal Investigator, to include supervision of laboratory personnel and laboratory budget responsibilities.
Responsible for chemical and equipment inventory, maintaining safety and inventory logs, interfacing with UNMC and VA research safety staff, providing annual reports of lab safety, chemical and equipment tracking.
