Materials Gatekeeper

The Materials Gatekeeper monitors production lines, inspects product quality, and maintains strict food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Observe rotating assemblies and equipment to ensure steady product flow.
• Inspect items visually to meet specific grade and packing rules.
• Maintain equipment and storage zones in clean order with general housekeeping, sweeping, and light scrubbing.
• Follow USDA rules and company food safety guidelines.
• Receive and ensure correct materials are scanned.
• Accurately record all material movements with scan gun and paper documentation
• File and properly archive paperwork to ensure accurate PO receiving.
• Maintain proper supply of materials to prevent downtime,
• All other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• General knowledge and use of basic math and computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively on a daily basis.
• Must read and speak English.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Ability to be pallet jack certified.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing procedures a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for up to 10 hours on wet concrete floors.

• Withstand cold or variable processing room environments.
• Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
