2nd Shift - Slaughter Plant

Dept: 1252 - Supply HEAVY LIFTER

Shift Hours: 4:50 p.m. - EOS

Pay Rate: $ 16.25 per hour.

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department. Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies, or merchandise, and compiles stock records in stockroom; Fill orders or issues supplies from stock; Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock; Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued; Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space; Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments; Maintains inventory and other stock records; and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 POUNDS. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
