The Role We Want You For

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procore Support Engineer to join our team based in Chicago, IL. This position is part of a centralized Procore Support Team responsible for managing multiple Procore instances across the Clayco enterprise, and partners closely with the Procore Support Manager to execute enterprise Procore strategy and governance, serving as a senior operational lead across the Procore support function.

The ideal candidate is highly experienced in Procore and enterprise systems administration, comfortable operating with autonomy on complex execution work, and capable of translating governance standards and strategic priorities into consistent day-to-day platform management. They will work closely with project teams, internal stakeholders, and leadership to ensure Procore is effectively administered, continuously improved, and fully supported across the organization.

The Specifics of the Role

• Administer and maintain Procore governance standards as defined by platform leadership, ensuring consistent enforcement across all instances
• Lead day-to-day configuration decisions and rollout execution for prioritized initiatives
• Provide senior-level administration of Procore, including user permission structures, tool configuration, integration variance analysis, and advanced troubleshooting
• Analyze integration variance data and surface findings and recommendations to leadership
• Act as a senior escalation point for end-user support, technical guidance, and issue resolution
• Serve as the operational right hand to platform leadership - capable of running point on releases, mobilizations, and cross-functional initiatives without direct oversight
• Mentor and guide junior team members on daily execution, configuration best practices, and support workflows
• Develop and maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and work instructions at a standard suitable for enterprise-wide use
• Partner with functional area leaders to translate business requirements into Procore configuration and workflow design
• Support quality assurance and governance compliance checks across all Procore instances
• Evaluate new Procore features and lead testing/rollout planning in partnership with leadership
• Execute process improvement initiatives in partnership with leadership, identifying usability and adoption trends across the user base

Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) administering enterprise SaaS platforms or PMIS systems, with Procore strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience owning or enforcing governance standards across a multi-instance or multi-entity software environment
• Working knowledge of systems integration concepts - API/data mapping literacy a plus, particularly relevant to ERP-adjacent integration work
• Solid understanding of construction management processes and the financial workflows supporting project planning and execution
• Proven ability to operate independently on ambiguous, cross-functional problems while still executing against defined leadership priorities
• Experience mentoring or informally leading junior team members
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Capacity to produce clear, structured technical documentation at an enterprise standard
• Prior experience administering Procore or similar PMIS (Kahua, Prolog, e-Builder, ProjectSite)
• Familiarity with enterprise software governance models
• Experience supporting a multi-instance or large-scale software deployment
• Exposure to training development, change management, or process improvement disciplines

Compensation

• The salary range for this position considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: Education, qualifications, skills, training, experience, certifications, internal equity, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The Clayco Nationwide salary range for this position is approximately $100,000 - $140,000 +/- annually (not adjusted for location).
