We are seeking Cable Technicians to support the buildout of a large-scale data center infrastructure project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on cutting-edge technology environments while developing valuable skills in structured cabling and fiber optics.

What You'll Do

  • Pull and route copper and fiber optic cabling throughout the facility
  • Install cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, trapeze systems, and other pathway infrastructure
  • Build and install server racks and supporting hardware
  • Organize, dress, label, and prepare cable for termination
  • Terminate low-voltage devices, copper cabling, and fiber cabling
  • Perform cable testing and verification
  • Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cabling systems
  • Perform fire-stopping procedures and install sleeves as required
  • Follow project drawings and installation specifications
  • Complete project documentation accurately and on time
  • Adhere to quality, safety, and installation standards

What You Bring

  • Experience pulling and handling fiber optic cable
  • Experience with structured cabling installations
  • Experience terminating copper and/or fiber cabling
  • Understanding of cable testing procedures
  • Ability to read and follow project drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Comfortable working in active construction and data center settings

Nice to Have

  • Data center experience
  • Fluke testing experience
  • Fiber optic termination experience
  • Experience dressing and organizing cabling
  • Experience building server racks
  • Knowledge of industry color codes and cabling standards

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rock Hill, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
