Summary:
The Marketing Generalist is responsible for improving store performance metrics and driving multi-channel campaigns by collaborating closely with internal departments, clients, and leadership. Additionally, this role will support AI-enabled workflows and process improvements to help the team be more efficient and make smarter decisions.

Essential functions of the role that can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Play a pivotal role in identifying challenges and opportunities, developing tailored marketing strategies, and implementing initiatives that drive lead generation, conversion rates, and overall store performance.
· Liaison between the marketing department and other SAM departments, overseeing the performance of a specific grouping of stores within designated regions.
· Oversee the marketing efforts for a designated region, ensuring tailored strategies are effectively implemented to meet regional performance goals.
· Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and execute region specific marketing strategies that address the unique challenges and opportunities, driving consistent improvements in performance metrics across the region.
· Identify, initiate, and schedule regular communication sessions with revenue and operations of focus stores to understand challenges, provide support, and develop tailored strategies to enhance performance.
· Develop and implement marketing strategies across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional marketing, to increase lead generation and conversion rates.
· Analyze marketing data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable insights.
· Oversee the marketing aspects of lease-up and transition stores, ensuring effective strategies are in place for optimal performance.
· Stay up to date with the latest marketing and self-storage industry trends and technologies to ensure that the company’s marketing strategies are innovative and effective.
· Travel quarterly to SAM’s managed stores, corporate office, and conferences as necessary. Travel may be up to 20% of the time.
· In office scheduling requirements are determined by your supervisor and are subject to change at any time.
· Valid Driver’s license is required due to travel necessities.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
· Post-Secondary Education Desired
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
· Experience in the storage or retail industry is strongly preferred
· Strong verbal/written communication skills
Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Work Hours: In a typical week, this position requires regular and predictable attendance. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Work Environment: This work is usually performed indoors in an office environment with normal noise levels and no exposure to hazardous conditions. This is a remote position and may be performed at home. Employees in this position are required to reside in a state where SAM is registered to conduct business.
