Manager - Strategic Growth

WSP is currently seeking a Manager - Strategic Growth to support our Strategic Growth Team, US. The Manager - Strategic Growth, GCC SGT will lead proposal delivery and work-winning support for US pursuits while strengthening the GCC proposal management capability. The role is accountable for compliant, high-quality and timely submissions, trusted stakeholder partnerships, effective resource management, team development, operational excellence and contribution to the wider GCC SGT strategy.

This role will be based in the Noida/ Bengaluru office.

• Proposal Delivery and Work-Winning Support

  • Lead assigned proposal pursuits from kickoff through submission, including planning, coordination, reviews, compliance checks and debriefs. Ensure proposals are compliant, complete, accurate, brand-aligned and submitted on time.
  • Support proposal strategy, win themes, messaging and positioning in collaboration with US stakeholders, technical SMEs and graphics teams.
  • Identify proposal risks, content gaps and compliance issues early, and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Strengthen GCC proposal delivery capability while ensuring continuity, quality and responsiveness across pursuits.
  • Maintain and improve core proposal content, resumes, project sheets and reusable pursuit materials.
  • Improve proposal review and quality-control practices to reduce rework and strengthen final submissions.
  • Apply proposal lessons learned, standard templates and best practices to improve consistency across pursuits.
  • Use practical tools, automation and AI-enabled improvements to increase proposal efficiency and turnaround time.
  • Track recurring proposal delivery issues and translate them into practical process improvements.

• Proposal Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with US proposal stakeholders and proactively manage pursuit priorities, expectations and delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate effectively with US teams, technical SMEs, graphics and GCC proposal teams to align on milestones, reviews and submission timelines.
  • Address proposal delivery issues constructively, manage escalations and use stakeholder feedback to improve pursuit support and proposal quality.

• Team Leadership and Proposal Resource Management

  • Plan team capacity, workload allocation and pursuit support to ensure balanced utilization and effective proposal delivery.
  • Maintain proposal delivery continuity through cross-skilling, backup planning and proactive resource deployment across active pursuits.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, quality oversight and decision support to proposal coordinators and team members.
  • Coach team members on proposal coordination, compliance, writing quality, stakeholder management and pursuit delivery standards.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative and accountable team environment that supports engagement, retention and high-quality proposal outcomes.

Key Competencies / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Journalism, English, Communications or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in proposal development, bid management, proposal coordination or a similar work-winning environment.
• Strong proposal and pursuit management capability, with sound understanding of compliance, reviews, submission governance and deadline-driven delivery.
• Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills, with high attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, influencing and issue-resolution skills across global teams.
• Experience leading teams, managing capacity, coaching employees and overseeing proposal delivery quality.
• Experience with proposal content repositories, knowledge management, standardization and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and SharePoint; interest in automation, AI adoption and process efficiency is preferred.
• Experience in the engineering/AEC industry and exposure to US proposals or global stakeholders is preferred.
• Self-motivated, accountable and inclusive team leader with cultural awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities.
