Discover the Role

The Senior Dynamics 365 Test Analyst is responsible for leading and executing both automation and functional testing across enterprise platforms including:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  • PowerApps / Power Platform
  • Service Management Tools (SMT)

This is a hands-on QA role requiring strong automation expertise, deep CRM knowledge, and experience ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Functional Testing

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using C#, Selenium, EasyRepro, Playwright, SpecFlow, and other automation frameworks.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing for:
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Service Management Tools (SMT)
  • Power Platform and web applications
  • Build and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Validate integration flows between CRM, SMT, and supporting systems.
  • Analyze automation test results, identify defects, and ensure quality standards.

Quality Assurance & Collaboration

  • Apply strong knowledge of QA methodologies, industry best practices, and testing lifecycles.
  • Collaborate proactively with development teams to streamline QA and automation processes.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, defect triage).
  • Take ownership of assigned testing tasks and ensure timely delivery.

Defect & Test Management

  • Use Azure DevOps (TFS) for test case design, execution, requirement traceability, dashboards, and bug management.
  • Log, document, track, and validate defects thoroughly to closure.
  • Conduct comprehensive regression testing after bug fixes and system deployments.
  • Perform requirement analysis and ensure appropriate test coverage across CRM and SMT solutions.

Dynamics 365 CRM & SMT Expertise

  • Work with CRM & SMT customizations, configurations, and test their impact.
  • Ensure seamless testing of CRM & SMT functional flows, integrations, and data validations.
  • Provide insights into CRM and SMT improvements from a QA perspective.

Key Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in:
    • Dynamics 365 CRM Testing (functional + automation)
    • Service Management Tool (SMT) Testing
  • Automation experience using:
    • C#, Selenium, SpecFlow, EasyRepro
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing / QA processes
  • Experience with E2E testing across CRM, SMT, Power Platform, and web applications
  • Requirement analysis and defect management expertise

Tools Experience

  • Azure DevOps, TFS, Visual Studio
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM & Power Platform
  • Service Management Tools (SMT)
  • EasyRepro, SpecFlow, Selenium, TestComplete
  • CI/CD tools: TeamCity, Octopus

Good to Have

  • Functional knowledge of D365 Sales and Marketing modules
  • Understanding of CRM and SMT data flows and integrations

General Skills

  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented
  • Self‑motivated and enthusiastic about continuous learning

Key Business Expertise:

  • 4-5 years of experience in software testing, QA, or a related field (or strong academic exposure with internship/placement experience).
  • Experience or familiarity with test execution in professional services, SaaS HRIS, BPO, or technology environments is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of functional testing, defect lifecycle, test design principles, and test documentation.
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps or any test management tool is beneficial.
  • Understanding of payroll, HR, accounting, or financial systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Interest in developing skills in automation or performance testing tools (Selenium, JMeter, etc.) is a plus.

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to learn, take guidance, and progressively build testing capability.
  • Ability to follow structured processes, meet deadlines, and manage assigned tasks effectively.

  • Ability to work across time zones when required.
  • Domain knowledge in Payroll, HR, Entity Management, Accounting, or Finance. Experience with HCM systems such as Workday or Optix is an advantage.
  • Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel globally as required.

Education:

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or equivalent.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
  • ISTQB Foundation Level (or willing to obtain) is preferred.
