The Department of Paediatrics within the Women and Child Health Division is engaged in advancing child health through clinical research and programme activities. This position will support the Parents Circle programme for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated research initiatives. The role contributes to family engagement, psychological assessments, data collection, and research activities conducted in community and institutional settings.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include to

• arrange, organise, and facilitate Parents Circle sessions, including preparing materials and ensuring smooth session flow
• moderate activities during sessions and support siblings’ engagement and participation
• communicate with parents, caregivers, and administrative staff regarding scheduling, logistics, and follow-ups
• conduct and quality check structured surveys and assessments, including SRS, DASS-21, SDQ, and Family Impact Questionnaire
• assist in In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) with selected family members, including notetaking and documentation
• review data for completeness and quality and coordinate with team members to address corrections
• prepare weekly progress reports on Parents Circle sessions and research activities
• contribute to final project reports and summaries upon completion
• perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Principal Investigator.

Requirements

You should have:

• Masters in psychology or a related medical background
• 1 to 2 years of related work experience
• experience conducting research or therapy with children will be preferred
• familiarity with developmental and psychological assessment tools such as INCLEN, ACSF, SRS, SDQ, DASS21, and FIQ will be preferred
• understanding of research protocols and procedures
• ability to plan, coordinate, collect, analyse, and report research data
• experience performing psychological assessments such as INCLEN, ACSF, SDQ, SRS, DASS, and FIQ
• excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• good writing, documentation, and reporting skills.
