The Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan, recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance, quality, and extent of its work in support of public health and the development of primary health care systems. It comprises of five major operational sections: Epidemiology & biostatistics, Health policy & management, Population & reproductive health, Environmental health & climate change, and non-communicable diseases & mental health.

This is a grant funded contractual position.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

• support day-to-day implementation and coordination of assigned project activities
• compile, clean, analyze and summarize programme data to support monitoring, reporting and decision-making
• track activities against approved workplans, milestone plans and MEL requirements and flag delays or risks
• support preparation of progress reports, milestone documentation and donor reporting inputs
• coordinate and follow up on trainings, meetings and stakeholder engagements
• supervise and guide research/data support staff involved in data collection and field activities
• maintain accurate and organized activity, data and financial records to ensure audit readiness
• support procurement, budget tracking and compliance documentation
• coordinate with government, project and other relevant stakeholders as required
• undertake any other related responsibilities assigned by the supervisors.

Requirements:

You should have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences, Data Systems, Data Science, Statistics or a related discipline
• more than three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in EPI, Polio, TB, Public Health or Health Management Information Systems
• strong data analysis and data management skills, with proficiency in MS Excel
• experience with DHIS2, Stata, SPSS or similar data and analytical tools will be an advantage
• good understanding of public health programmes, immunization, surveillance or health systems will be an advantage
• strong coordination, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• ability to manage multiple activities, priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
• strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills
• ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and government stakeholders
