The primary goal of the Centre of Excellence, Trauma and Emergencies (CETE) is to improve health outcomes of individuals and populations affected by trauma and emergencies including motor vehicle crashes, complex humanitarian crises, disasters due to climate change and large-scale epidemics. The CETE will work with AKDN partners (including the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat), global academic and response institutions, governments, private sector and funding agencies to strengthen day-to-day trauma and emergency systems as well as disaster preparedness and response in low and lower middle income countries, especially those where AKU and AKDN is active.

This is a grant-funded contractual position.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

• assist in quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) of research data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• support data entry, validation, cleaning, and documentation activities
• assist in preparing data reports and resolving data discrepancies
• assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of training sessions across Pakistan
• coordinate training logistics, including schedules, resource allocation such as manikins and training materials, and venue arrangements
• provide guidance and support to participants during training activities and assessments
• coordinate with instructors and facilitators assigned to each training programme.

Requirements:

You should have:

• a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or DPT from an HEC-recognised university/institution
• at least two years of relevant experience in quality assurance, quality control, and data validation, along with experience in CPR and Bleeding Control training
• strong knowledge of emergency care principles, resuscitation guidelines, and life-saving procedures
• understanding of adult learning methodologies and competency-based training approaches
• ability to manage classroom and practical training environments effectively
• proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital learning tools/platforms
• excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• flexibility to travel and conduct training sessions during weekends.
