[What the role is]
You will work on the planning of a potential Integrated Cruise and Ferry Terminal (ICFT). The ICFT project is to ensure Singapore remains relevant and future-ready to capitalise on the growth in cruise business and maintain our position as a leading cruise homeport. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders (including government agencies and a multi-disciplinary team of consultants) to plan, coordinate and drive the planning of the potential ICFT.
[What you will be working on]
As project officer, you will be required to:
Work closely with government agencies and private sector stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and drive the implementation of future Cruise infrastructure.
Work with appointed external consultants to ensure the timely development of future Cruise infrastructure, including obtaining required approvals from authorities and overseeing of technical studies and design workshops.
[What we are looking for]
a) Good analytical skills and strategic thinking, demonstrating the ability to identify, analyse and synthesise information.
b) Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed to effectively engage both internal and external stakeholder.
c) Experience in relevant fields such as Building Development / Project Management, Urban Planning/Design, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
d) Experience in drafting and preparing tender documents and contracting, managing budgets and project costs for large-scale infrastructure projects. Prior experience working on government procurement is preferred.
e) Some knowledge of the Cruise industry is a good to have, but not necessary.
