Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Project Manager, Human Resources to lead and deliver complex HR programs across the Asia Pacific region. In this role, you will partner with HR Centers of Excellence, regional HR teams, and business leaders to manage key initiatives including talent programs, employee experience, workforce transformation, HR technology, compliance, and operational excellence projects.
Success in this role requires strong project management expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate diverse cultural, regulatory, and business environments across APAC. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading global initiatives while adapting execution approaches to meet local market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Project Leadership: Lead end-to-end execution of regional and global HR initiatives, including talent management, employee experience, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, HR technology implementations, benefits programs, and compliance-related projects.
Regional Stakeholder Partnership: Build strong partnerships with HR leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across multiple countries and cultures to drive alignment, decision-making, and successful project outcomes.
Global Program Deployment: Support the localization and execution of global HR programs within all markets, ensuring alignment with regional business requirements and local regulations.
Change & Transformation Management: Lead organizational change and workforce transformation initiatives, developing implementation strategies that drive adoption, minimize disruption, and enable successful business outcomes.
Risk & Compliance: Ensure HR projects align with labor laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies, mitigating risks related to compliance and employee relations through partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.
Resource Planning & Delivery Management: Manage project timelines, dependencies, resources, and delivery plans to ensure successful execution and achievement of business objectives.
Governance & Reporting: Establish project governance, executive reporting, and performance metrics that provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes. Prepare and deliver executive-level communications and presentations to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
Process Excellence & Scalability: Develop and continuously improve project management frameworks, playbooks, and operating models that enable scalable and repeatable HR program delivery.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 8+ years of project or program management experience, including experience supporting Human Resources, People Operations, Talent, or Organizational initiatives.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects across multiple countries, cultures and time zones.
- Experience working within a multinational technology or high-growth global organization preferred.
Regional Experience
- Demonstrated experience partnering with stakeholders across Asia Pacific and navigating diverse cultural and business environments.
- Working knowledge of regional employment practices and regulatory considerations is highly desirable.
Language Requirements
- English fluency is required.
- Professional working proficiency in one or more of the following languages is strongly preferred: Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Thai, or Filipino (Tagalog).
- Language capability is required to support communication, stakeholder engagement, program execution, and change initiatives across diverse employee populations throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Communication & Influence
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience facilitating executive discussions, workshops, and decision-making forums within multicultural environments.
