We are currently seeking candidates with exceptional customer service and clinical skills to join our team as a Per Diem Hybrid Medical Assistant. In this role, you will support both the clinical and administrative functions of the practice, helping ensure a seamless experience for patients from arrival through treatment and follow-up. Team members work collaboratively to provide complete office support and may rotate responsibilities throughout the day based on patient and clinic needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced dermatology environment.

Duties Include:
• Providing exceptional patient care and customer service throughout the patient visit, from check-in through check-out
• Greeting patients and facilitating the efficient and timely flow of patients through the office
• Scheduling appointments, answering phones, and assisting with patient outreach and follow-up communications
• Verifying demographic and insurance information and collecting required patient documentation
• Distributing patient forms and ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Checking patients in and out and assisting with daily office operations
• Rooming patients and preparing them for examination and treatment
• Obtaining and documenting medical histories, vital signs, and dermatologic concerns
• Maintaining accurate and timely patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Assisting providers with dermatologic procedures, treatments, and patient care activities
• Educating patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventative skin care practices
• Preparing and maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and equipment in accordance with clinical and safety standards
• Supporting efficient clinic workflow by adapting to the needs of patients, providers, and the practice throughout the day
• Collaborating with providers and team members to deliver an outstanding patient experience
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies
• Assisting with inventory management, administrative tasks, and other clinic support activities as needed
• Assisting with additional duties and projects as assigned to support clinic operations
Qualifications Include:
• Customer service experience required
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Must be computer literate and comfortable learning new systems
• CPR certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain certification within four weeks of employment
• Ability to learn and understand medical terminology, dermatologic procedures, and vital signs
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to support all aspects of the patient experience, including both clinical and administrative responsibilities
• At least one year of dermatology experience preferred
• Medical Assistant certificate, diploma, or completion of a medical vocational program preferred
