Summary:

This role ensures the readiness and optimal use of the technical machinery and systems.

Essential Functions:

Adhere to the requirements of the quality management system with the aim of continuous improvement
Perform trouble shooting of the PLC and control network as required
Assist with repair and maintenance of equipment and systems
Set, adjust, repair, monitor, optimize and operate machines, detecting and correcting defective parts
Manage the system, machine manuals and maintenance plans
Assist with organizing spare parts inventory as needed
Ensure all process control systems and networks remain operational and up to date
Other duties as assigned

Vocational training, preferably in mechatronics. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
2+ years of manufacturing experience
Knowledge of the structure and function of production machinery
Knowledge of mechatronics and automation as well as measurement, control and regulation
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming knowledge
