Purpose of the Position:

GSM Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement operations and ensuring compliance across Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes. This role partners closely with sourcing managers, suppliers, business stakeholders, finance, and global shared service teams to drive operational excellence, supplier governance, data integrity, and continuous process improvement. The position plays a key role in executing procurement transactions, maintaining supplier records, supporting audits, and enhancing procurement efficiency through process standardization and automation initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess strong coordination skills, a process-oriented mindset, and the ability to drive operational efficiency in a fast-paced global environment.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Support daily procurement operations, including Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processing and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate supplier onboarding, qualification, and documentation management in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain supplier master data and ensure accuracy, completeness, and governance compliance.
  • Provide operational support for Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Requisition-to-Pay (R2P) processes.
  • Monitor procurement transactions and work with internal stakeholders to resolve process-related issues.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to audit inquiries, and tracking corrective actions.
  • Generate procurement operational reports, KPI metrics, and management dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver guidance and training to stakeholders on procurement policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, Legal, and business functions.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in Procurement Operations, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related business functions.

  • Experience in handling PR/PO processes, supplier coordination, and procurement-related documentation is preferred.

  • Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations is preferred.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and supplier master data maintenance is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of procurement operations and purchasing processes.

  • Knowledge of Purchase Requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO), supplier onboarding, and supplier management processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and compliance-focused mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in global procurement operations or supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of supplier governance, master data management, and procurement controls.
