We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

• Research and introduce relevant global/modern technologies and share learnings with the team (demos, documentation, knowledge sessions).
• Improve code review practices and overall code quality to support timely, high-quality delivery.
• Proactively identify risks/issues in maintained repositories and drive remediation (e.g., tech debt, build failures, vulnerabilities).
• Support release activities and production readiness; help handle production issues and follow up with fixes and improvements.
• Improve engineering processes (CI/CD, testing, automation, coding standards) to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate across teams to remove blockers and ensure smooth delivery across parallel projects.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

• Strong hands-on coding skills; able to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong learning agility and clear communication; able to work across teams to solve problems.
• Ability to become familiar quickly with release processes and production incident handling.
• A proactive mindset: identify problems early, prioritise effectively, and drive them to resolution.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivery outcomes.
• Experience applying engineering quality practices (code review, testing discipline, and basic CI pipeline awareness).
